This journey was a true collaboration of medical professionals, LWB staff, and volunteers, all committed to transforming the lives of children born with cleft lip and cleft palate.

The team, including Dr. Tolan, Dr. Travis Tollefson, Dr. Jennifer Shehan, and Dr. John Ness, performed over 50 life-changing surgeries at Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro in Antigua. This mission, led by UC Davis alums, exemplifies the power of global collaboration and the profound impact it can have on children and their families.
