David Pontius, PA-C, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He went on to receive his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. David is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is an active member of both the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Associates (MAPA).
David’s diverse experience includes working with patients in both rural and urban healthcare settings, collaborating to meet their unique needs. He is passionate about interprofessional collaboration and expanding access to care for all patients. In 2022, as a clinical technician at Midwest ENT, David was honored with the Midwest ENT Values Award for exemplifying the company’s core values of respect, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
In his practice, David is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to both pediatric and adult ENT patients with a variety of concerns. He looks forward to partnering with his patients to improve their health and well-being.
Outside of work, David enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking, canoeing, and camping, especially in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. When indoors, he likes to relax by playing board games.
