Kelly C. Landeen, M.D. is a Board-Eligible Otolaryngologist with advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the ears, nose, and throat. She brings a deep commitment to her patients, combining clinical expertise with a collaborative approach to care.
Dr. Landeen earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine, where she received the National Excellence in Public Health Award from the U.S. Public Health Service, as well as multiple scholarships recognizing her academic and leadership excellence. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the #1 Otolaryngology training program in the United States. While there, she was awarded research grants and recognized for her contributions to advancing surgical education and patient care outcomes.
Following her residency, Dr. Landeen completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she also served as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology. This specialized training enhances her ability to offer reconstructive and aesthetic care, such as facial trauma repair and skin cancer reconstruction, as a complement to her Otolaryngology practice.
Dr. Landeen is an accomplished researcher and educator with numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters to her name. She has also presented her work at national conferences, earning accolades such as the Honorable Mention Scientific Poster Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, which she earned multiple times. She is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Landeen enjoys traveling, reading, downhill skiing, hot yoga, and spending time with her husband and daughter. She values meaningful connections with those around her and enjoys getting to know her patients and colleagues alike.
